I did not take maternity leave for my first child, as I was self employed at the time. As such, I wanted to keep my creativity up by creating something during this 4 month leave, so i started to renew the english version of my website. I previously only designed the home page to some extent and have now finally finished coding all of the pages.
For a few years I have been struggling with my own design skill and how I can continue to improve it.
Since web development keeps evolving, as do the skills of web developers, my design skills need to develop in order to incorporate the new technologies, and my style will need to match the modern web dev landscape...
I was born in Nagasaki. After graduating from university, I toiled in the semiconductor industry before realizing that I was unhappy and changed to the IT industry. I worked at a small office for about five years before I went freelance. I was based in Nagasaki, Tokyo, and Kobe before I moved to New York for studying abroad in March 2019.
After I got married in 2019 and gave birth in 2020 in New York, our family moved to Japan and I started to work based in Hyogo prefecture since 2021. Currently, I am working as a designer at a company since October, 2023.
